RadioPunks 2003 Field Day Outing

We were are at Hill 129 in the Marin Headlands area of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Hill 129 is an old World War II bunker that overlooks the Bay inlet and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Getting there

To get to Hill 129 from the north, take the last 101 Marin exit and travel up the road that goes uphill. Keep following the road until it forks three ways. Turn onto the left fork, Conzelman Road. You will pass through the 'Sunset Gate', which will be closed at sunset and re-opened at sunrise.
